ABOUT US
We are a family owned and operated business that has been in the construction industry for over 35 years. Garry started his plumbing company all those years ago and in 1999 was joined by his sons Daniel and Jason in 2004. That year the Rudd Family started the company Ruddy’s Hire Pty Ltd, hiring plant solely to Rudd’s Plumbing for the company’s pipeline and service trenches.
Since then Ruddy’s Hire has grown and also had a change of name, today known as Rudd’s Earthmoving we specialise in short or long term plant hire, from tight access home owner projects right through to larger scale construction and civil works, bulk haulage as well as sand, soil and gravel supplies.
Starting out in the plumbing industry Rudd’s Earthmoving can also offer a wide range of pipe laying services. With the family’s plumbing company being a Hunter Water preferred contractor and a Hunter Water minor and major works contractor we can help with all sewer mains and manholes, water main and connections and stormwater main and pits.
WHS COMMITMENT
Our company is strongly committed to providing a safe working environment for our employees and the public. This is exemplified through the implementation of our WHS Safety Management System. This system has been created by a third party in compliance with the various safety legislations and standards present in NSW.
ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS
Rudd’s Earthmoving is an environmentally conscious company that always seeks to ensure its work does not affect the environment in an adverse manner. All possible measures and controls are implemented along with the rehabilitation of any areas disturbed during the project.
